Orbotech Introduces Latest Direct Imaging solution to North American Market

San Diego, CA, USA – IPC APEX Expo – Feb 24, 2014 – Orbotech Ltd., a global innovator of enabling technologies, will be featuring its latest digital production solutions for advanced PCB manufacturing in Booth #1649 at the San Diego Convention Center.

Orbotech will be presenting a series of systems including its latest Direct Imaging solution, the Nuvogo™ 800. The IPC APEX Expo marks the introduction of the Nuvogo 800 DI system to the North American market. This cutting-edge system utilizes Orbotech’s MultiWave Laser Technology™, which simultaneously generates a dual wavelength beam for maximum robustness on a vast range of resist types. The system achieves throughput of up to 300 prints per hour without compromising on quality and production flexibility.

The company will also feature its Fusion™ 20 Automated Optical Inspection solution and Sprint™ 120 inkjet printer. Orbotech’sFusion™ 20 AOI solution offers unmatched detection accuracy for high-end HDI and MLB applications while the Sprint™ 120 allows manufacturers to replace traditional resource-costly screen printing with high-speed, top-quality inkjet printing.

In addition, Frontline PCB Solutions, an Orbotech company, will also be presenting its latest CAM software for advanced PCB production.
