Following Orbotech‘s SPTS acquisition, revenues doubled from $440 million in 2013 to a forecast of approximately $900 million in 2017

Orbotech Ltd., a leading global supplier of yield-enhancing and process-enabling solutions for the manufacture of electronics products, today announced that it was selected as the winner by Calcalist, one of Israel’s leading financial publications, and BDO, an accounting and consulting firm, ‘Most Successful Business Accomplishment of the Year’ for its acquisition of SPTS Technologies. The competition, which is in its third year, focused on long term business achievements that were initiated several years ago and are now reaching full maturity and achieving their aims.

Orbotech’s acquisition of SPTS opened up new markets for the Company, in particular advanced packaging. Thanks to the unique offering of Orbotech’s three divisions – Printed Circuit Boards division, Flat Panel Display division and the new Semiconductor division - the Company succeeded in doubling its revenues from $440 million in 2013 to a forecasted of approximately $900 million in 2017.
