Third Consecutive Annual Award Recognizes SPTS’s Commitment to Continuous Improvement in Accident Prevention and Employee Wellbeing at Work

Newport, United Kingdom - SPTS Technologies, an Orbotech company and supplier of advanced wafer processing solutions for the global semiconductor and related industries, today announced that it has won a Gold Award in the Royal Society of Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards for the third consecutive year.  The prestigious Gold Award will be presented during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on July 15th 2015.

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “The RoSPA Awards encourage improvement in occupational health and safety management. Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as SPTS Technologies, contribute to raising standards overall and we congratulate them.”

RoSPA is a safety charity that recognizes companies who have demonstrated a commitment to occupational safety and health for their employees. Dating back 59 years, the RoSPA Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. It is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas. Through the scheme which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce improvement. Organisations that maintain high standards in consecutive years can win gold medals.
